September 6th - Intuition Ale Works Bay Street Opening - Join Intuition Ale Works for the opening of their highly anticipated Bay Street Taproom location. This celebration will happen from 1 p.m. - 10 p.m., and will also be particularly exciting as the US Men's National Team will be playing Trinidad & Tabago in the World Cup Qualifying Soccer Match. September 16th - PARK(ing) Day 2016 - Downtown Vision and other downtown businesses and advocacy groups are participating in PARK(ing) Day 2016, an annual international event. Downtown employees, residents, and visitors can enjoy 13 pop-up parklets that encourage interaction by playing games, exercising, eating, and much more! Learn more about this event here.
September 17th - Murray Hill Centennial Celebration - Join the Murray Hill Preservation Association in celebrating 100 years of the Murray Hill neighborhood! Attendees will be able to enjoy craft beer, live music, local food, and interactive activities for all ages. Learn more about the event here.
September 24th - Bootleggers' Ball - Celebrate the heyday of Riverside Avondale, the roaring 1920s, with the annual Bootleggers' Ball, organized by Riverside Avondale Preservation. In its fifth year, the Bootleggers' Ball gives residents a chance to dress up as flappers and gents and have a fantastic time at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. October 5th - Oktoberfest at Art Walk - The biggest Art Walk of the year, and a local favorite, the 2016 Oktoberfest at Art Walk promises to provide a family-friendly experience. You'll be able to enjoy a polka band, Oktoberfest themed contests, a carnival zone, kids zone, the traditional tapping of the keg, and a lot of German beer. Learn more about the event here.
November 5th - PorchFest 2016 - One of the most popular events in town, PorchFest is a free music festival that is held on the front porches of the Springfield neighborhood.
