It seems not long ago, to veteran Jacksonville residents, that the intersection of Southside Boulevard and Gate Parkway was just a dense pine forest -- a “dead spot” between Beach Boulevard to the north and Baymeadows road to the south. Today, Tinseltown is a diverse and dynamic shopping, dining and business center heavily weighted towards condos and townhomes, designed to attract professionals with a hectic schedule, active lifestyle, and who need the simplicity of condo/townhome living.
